Microbes in comparison to mammalian cells are fast growing organisms and require fermenter systems with high stirring capacity. Well defined K_LA values and a fed-batch or chemostat profile adapted to the metabolism are of interest. We have wide experience ranging from production of starter cultures to bacterial vaccines and can fulfill these requirements and moreover guarantee a robust bioreactor system suited for anaerobic as well as aerobic organisms.

Prior to large scale production of the fermented product a normally time consuming and cost ineffective screening is performed for the optimal strain and process conditions. We have taken that into consideration when we developed our high throughput multifermenter system ideal for running multiple parallel experiments. No manual handling is necessary since the cleaning, sterilization and electrode calibrations are fully automated.
