
In the emerging field of next generation biofuels we have together with the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (www.slu.se) developed a bioreactor to control and optimize your biogas and bioethanol process.
Second generation cellulosic ethanol meet our values of a sustainable development. We support our customers with bioreactors for both hydrolysis and fermentation, equipped with powerful stirring for high viscosity biomass, wide range temperature and pH control for mesophile as well as thermophile reactions.
Biogas producers have realized the importance of down scaled pre-studies to improve the understanding of the different phases of digestion and methane gas production, hydrolysis respectively methanogenesis. In order to optimize these conditions it is of high value to accurately control the environment in the bioreactor such as temperature, pH and stirring and the absence of oxygen. These prerequisites enable the user to compare bacteria strains, evaluating different feed substrates and measure productivity by either the total gas volume and or the methane concentrations. All these features and unique technical solutions such as the removable stone pocket have made the Dolly system together with Biophantom process control system a powerful tool to turn waste to energy.
