Belach is a company with more than 25 years experience in the field of bioprocess technology. Founding members established Belach Bioteknik AB in 1985 with the intension to supply the market with high quality and innovative biotech equipment.
Since then we have designed, manufactured and installed qualified computer controlled bioreactor systems for cell and microbial cultivations used in research and production.
Over the years, Belach Bioteknik AB has become acknowledged on the Swedish biotech market for the flexibility of our services and our long term customer care. You find Belach bioreactors satisfying our partners in most Swedish biopharmaceutical companies and research institutes.

Regulated BioPharma market
We clearly understand the strict requirements of GMP for biopharmaceutical production. We guarantee that all components of BELACH bioreactor systems – including material, electronics and computer control – comply with industrial standards. We provide our customers with all necessary documentation required for equipment and control system validation through our IQ/OQ validation package. We also support our customer with evaluation and installation of additional third party devices such as analytical instruments and downstream equipment.
Customized Solutions
We offer customized solutions and added value for the individual needs of our partners and support our customers from planning phase through system implementation to operation and maintenance. With our engineering skills we provide a solution that fulfills your needs to one hundred percent rather than selling a standard product that limits your process design.
Emerging Markets
In the emerging market of “white biotechnology”, including next generation biofuels, we utilize our knowledge from other bio-industrial areas. We use the experience we gained in fermentation to develop and optimize your hydrolysis, digestion, fermentation or photosynthesis process for Enzyme reactions, Biogas, Bioethanol, Succinic Acid, and Astaxanthin production.

György has joined Belach Bioteknik AB in 1991. He is involved in definition of user requirements, design, implementation, testing and maintenance of microbial and cell culture systems from R&D scale to GMP production. He is the man behind the unique BioPhantom© bioreactor control system.

Lars is CEO and founder of Belach Bioteknik. He has been the heart of the company for more than 25 years. Lars has a vast experience of all aspects of fermentation. He designs and builds systems should it be standard or fully customized to customer needs. Lars contributes to the business as advisor and supervisor of Mechanical Engineering in-house and as a consultant to our customers.
