Belach Bioteknik AB has developed its own open bioreactor control system, which is a powerful tool to analyse, understand and control various bioprocesses. The control software has been developed with tight cooperation with the users of Belach bioreactor system and has been adjusted to the specific needs of fermentation experts and to FDA guidelines on GMP.

Belach Bioteknik AB has committed itself to PC based direct digital control. Our bioreactor control systems are based on industry standard Wonderware Factory Suite program package for MS Windows and MS SQL Server Database. The open architecture allows easy integration into business-to-manufacturing information systems. Standard protocols provide seamless interfacing of 3rd party devices and the common database platform provides complex data logging facility for locally monitored process values, laboratory data and remote calculated variables. This environment enables our bioreactor control systems to comply with FDA CFR21 Part 11.

BIO-PHANTOM© flexible bioreactor control provides the same look-and-feel and similar control functions from small lab reactors to pilot-scale production fermenters, providing easy scaling-up. Sophisticated control loops provide reliable and precise control for all important process variables for microbial and cell cultivations. It provides flexible sequential control, action triggering and user-friendly process management function like reporting and historical trending. Every BIO-Phantom control application is customised for the individual needs of our customers.

BIO-PILOT© production control system applies advanced control modules to enhance bioreactor control with Batch Management, Resource Tracking or WEB visualisation. The BIO-PILOT computerised control systems are individually designed for GMP controlled validated systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
